A Tennessee-based metal forming tool and equipment maker announced the acquisition of a Pennsylvania-based sheet metal forming equipment manufacturer.
Tennsmith stated that the acquisition of Roll Formor Corporation meant “a natural extension and addition” to its own sheet metal forming equipment. The suburban Philadelphia company offers mechanical products, including metal roofing, garage door panels, skylights, and pool components.
“With this product line, our organization offers the most complete line of forming equipment and solutions for the metalworking industry,” Tennsmith co-owner Mike Smith said in a statement.
Roll Form will become one of Tennsmith’s brands along with Illinois sheet metal tool maker Roper Whitney. The company’s product line includes automatic bending machines, tire bending machines, hand brakes, slotting machines, rotary machines, shears and guide rollers.
